Mara River Nile Crocodiles(Crocodylus niloticus)
Yesterday(2nd.Aug.2012),At paradise main crossing there were about 200 zebras on both sides of the river, who they wanted to cross the river but just on the banks of both sides there were massive crocodiles who they were basking on the sun and at the same time waiting for anybody who will come to the river to drink. It is at this time of the migrations that these crocs are very active,as they bring down zebras and wildebeest who cross the river from one side to the side for the greener pastures,in the absence of these migratory beasts they rely on the cat fish/Mud fish and any other animal that come close to the river. In the next few days i'll be sharing with some of their photos when on action!
