Mara Triangle Safari on 15th August 2012 Black Rhino and Buffaloes..

Mara Triangle Safari On 15th.August.2012,Black Rhino and Buffaloes. .
I left main camp today very early in the morning and this time crossing the river to mara conservancy/mara triangle, following my safari team, the Lakey's family who were ballooning. After their safari up on the balloon basket we were back on our safari jeep, and i still had three items on their list to tick them off i.e,Rhino, wildbeests crossing and a kill!!.Lucky enough,at where the  breakfast was set,we spotted a black rhino, the only species found inside the reserve apart from the white rhino which is found outside the reserve on a sanctuary near Mara Safari Club-Fairmont Hotels,we set off and in about 30 minutes we found a big male, having have walked long distance, everyone was so happy that we have been very lucky to spot the big five in a duration of bout 25 hours.Black Rhinos in the mara are very few in that even we guides do not see them very frequently, thanks to the management of the Narok mara reserve and mara triangle with the help of Frunkfort zoological department for the effort they are putting on the conservation of this golden creature.

 Bush breakfast set.
A male  Black Rhino
 Black rhinos are mostly solitary.
They were not introduced in mara.
 Taking a flight.
 Buffaloes mudwallowing.
On our way back to the camp we found a big herd of bufalloes who they were mudwallowing on a small marsh to cool down and to keep the disturbing insects.Enjoyed watching them!!!
