Massive Crossing of both wildbeests and Zebras on 15th.August.2012.
After watching Black rhino,buffaloes and Giraffes among other animals we left little Governors camp at 3:30pm,and drive straight to main paradise plains.At the mortuary/kaburi crossing,there were thousands of wildbeests crossing the river,very great time we had here everbody was happy and cheering up the zebras and wildbeests crossing mara river.It is this crossing point that,when wildbeests are crossing from Narok mara to mara conservancy,if they make wrong direction to get in and out alot of them are normaly stucked and even some casualties,today was of no exception.Look at the photos below.All hundreds of tourists who were there today had best of their time,including our minister for tourism.
On mara triangle this morning i did not see many wildbeests and zebras but with today's crossing the number is building up.At the crossing point near kichwa tembo airstrip massive crossing is expected tomorrow.
