Safari on the 7th.October.2012.


On this date we left the camp at 0630 hours and we arrived at Bilashaka we spotted to young male lions who they were on there own.These two boys whose their mum is called joy lost their brother through fighting to the four big male lions dominating marsh pride.They were exactly heading to where there brother was found dead.And near double crossing we found a solitary cheetah who she looked pregnant,she tried to hunt some impalas but she was seen and the whole harem fled.A big herd of elephants,some species of birds including Lilac breaste roller featured here,A herd of impalas feeding very close to a pond infested by water lillies and troop baboons not forgetting hundreds of thousands of wildbeests and zebras made our day.

Safari on 6th.October.2012.

This afternoon after we left the camp we arrived at main crossing poin in paradise plains to check if there was any wildbeest or zebra to cross,we found that there was a small herd of  both species but not very close to the river.But in there were several vultures who they were feeding on stucked wildbeests among the rocks and of great interest was a big crocodile who was feeding on a zebra very close to vultures who they did not seemed to be scared.

Safari on 5th.0ctober.2012.

One hour Safari spotting two families of the big five near Governors Camps.We did not Travel far but we stayed watching this herd of elephants and the pride of marsh pride who the tried hunting but not succesfull.

Safari on 2nd.October.2012.

 Sunrise in the mara.
 Bat eared fox,paradise plains.In the Dog family.

 Both Impalas and Waterbucks in the same marsh.

 He is an old guy though look at his horns,
 Marsh pride lionesses watching some zebras from a distant.

 Too thirsty but got water to quench it off.
These guys can not cross and decided to take another route.
